BISS Ch. Domino's Once in a Blue Moon "Mickey" (click to see his page) BISS CH. Domino's Once in a Blue Moon - What an aptly named dog. Mickey is a truly unique animal; one that doesn't come often, if ever, to most people. The decision to obtain a Papillon in addition to the Pembroke Welsh Corgis I had shown for 16 yrs. was a fortuitous one! I n searching for a reputable breeder, I was lucky to find Leona Domino and her daughter, Laura Temperato from Medina, Ohio. They had a 2-male puppy litter, and she decided one could come to California!! The highlight of his short show career was his going BOB, BOW, WD, from the 12-18 mo. dog class at the Papillon Club of America National Specialty Show in Irvine, Ca. in May 2006, under noted Breeder Judge, Mrs. Sharon Newcomb of New Mexico. This finished Mickey's Championship and earned him his 2nd 5 point major. He finished with three majors, two 5 point wins and a 4 point win, and 2 Sweepstakes wins. He is currently taking time to grow up and is attending a few all-breed shows, where he has already received 5 BOB's and a Group Placement in very limited showing! He even qualified for the Eukanuba Show in Long Beach, Dec. 2006. Mickey also likes the girls!!! He has some nice puppies coming up and they will be in the ring soon!!! His oldest puppy, MAX, is major pointed and was RWD at the Papillon Club of Southern California Specialty in July 2007. All papillons have that joy of life, and irresistible charm, but I think Mickey enjoys life just a little more than most and I am extremely lucky to have found this "Once in a Blue Moon" friend! PEDIGREE   MEA Can't Touch This "Macy" has 12 points to date, including a 5 point Major following the Southern California Papillon Regional Specialty in Ventura in July 2006, she needs a major to finish her Championship. She is a real character, and a very good show-girl, except when she decides to play tug of war with her lead when the judge comes by to look at her! Macy is co-owned with Martha Antongiovanni, Bakersfield, CA. Macy's breed showing will have to wait a bit as she is at home with her litter of 5 puppies!! by BISS Ch.
